Bangalore, 2nd July 09:- Kavveri Telecom Products Ltd, incorporated in 1991 is a leader in the manufacture of Antennas and RF products for the wireless industry in India. Kavveri manufactures Base Station Antennas and Accessories for use by both GSM and CDMA operators. Kavveri also manufactures antennas for use in In-Building solutions (IBS), Specialised Antennas for use by the Defence Sector and Antennas for WiMAX at its facilities in Bangalore. Its focus on quality products has also enabled Kavveri to become the most favored vendor for various RF products and Antennas for many pan India GSM/CDMA operators and OEMs.
In the recent past Kavveri had acquired Til-Tek, Canada, a leader in antennas, DCI, Canada, a leader in RF products and filters, and Spotwave Wireless Inc. Canada and also Technology, IP Rights of Sigma Wireless, Ireland from PCTel, USA.

With the acquisition of Trackcom Systems International (TSI) a design and development company based out of Montreal, Canada Kavveri will have access to a vast portfolio of RF products and Antennas upto 40 Ghz useful for space, defence and telecom applications.

This acquisition opens new avenues for Kavveri in the defence and space segments.
With mounting concerns over homeland and border security and rapid advances in the field of Electronic Warfare, there is a growing trend toward the adoption of networking and wireless technologies in various application areas of the defense sector.
Some of Kavveri Telecom’s clientele in India include Motorola, Ericsson, Nokia-Siemens, Nortel, ZTE, Alcatel-Lucent, Vodafone Essar, Idea, Reliance, BSNL and WorldSpace etc.
